tonight I want to share something related to Physiology, the Endocrine system. For this year, Physiology is divided into several sub-subject..1 of them is Endocrine..
what is Endocrine system?
- is a system which regulate/secrete a type of hormone direct to the blood stream to regulate the body function.
okai I think enough for that brief intro..hehe..actually I dont want to tell about what the endocrine system and so on..more specifically aku mahu share apa disorder yang will happen when something bad happen dekat system ni keluar sudah BM haha layan~
endocrine system is very important to us..very very important..if there's a damage in the gland or the amount of hormone secretion increase or decrease from normal value, we or people around us will suffer from certain disease..depend which glands or which hormone is effected..
for today, I would like to share more or less about what disorder will occur if and only if Pituitary gland is damage or secrete more or less hormone than the normal value, Pituitary Gland is one of the endocrine gland..payah jugak tulis fully english ni -.-''

disorder malam ni adalah SHEEHAN's DISEASE =)
what is Sheehan Disease? due to what? clinical picture? ada cure ka? and so on..=)
Sheehan Disease, is due to the damage of pituitary gland that occur after childbirth cause by a severe bleeding. Which may cause the gland to lose it ability to function properly. This disorder is very rare, don't worry. But it may occur if the mother give birth to twins or triplets..ada kemungkinan pendarahan teruk akan terjadi kepada ibu terbabit.

- inability to breast feeding
- easy fatigue
- Asthenia (muscle weakness)
- lack of menstrual bleeding
- loss of hair, shrunken skin and loss of body weight
- low blood pressure
- mental deterioration
- polyuria
- Anaemia
treatment?
treatment involves estrogen and progesterone hormone replace therapy, which may taken for the rest of the life. Thyroid and adrenal hormones also must be taken.
Prevention?
severe bleeding during childbirth can be avoid with proper medical care =)
why i talk/blogging about this? simply bcos I am a woman, and insyaALLAH one day I will becoming a doctor and insyaALLAH I will give birth to my child..seriously i'm scare to death if I will be suffering from this disease/disorder #nauzubillah..
maybe some of you will laugh at me, why should I be fear? I would be a doctor and so on..yes! that truth! but when ALLAH want something to happen, it would dear! no exception kan? this year, on this subject we study many disorders related to women and children..every time it touch about women and child..pilunya hati..perasaan simpati and takut akan datang secara tiba-tiba..U_U sebab aku tergolong dalam golongan itu, wanita dan akan melahirkan anak..dalam hati berdoa banyak2 semoga aku dan bakal anak2ku akan sihat walafiat semuanya nanti..#amin
